Algae control and water quality
Green water and string algae handled at the source, with water testing that tells us why.

Algae is a symptom. Green water and long green strings both mean the pond has more nutrients and light than it has filtration and plants.
Dumping chemicals in kills the algae and leaves the cause. Two weeks later it is back, and now there is dead algae on the bottom too.
We test the water, find what is feeding the bloom, and fix that. Treatments help while the balance comes back.
What the visit includes
- Full water test: ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH, KH
- Fish load and feeding review
- Filter and flow rate sized against your pond
- String algae removed by hand
- Beneficial bacteria program set up
- UV clarifier or ion control recommended where it fits
- Plant coverage plan for shade and nutrient uptake
- Follow-up test to confirm the fix held
What we look for
Pea soup green water
Single cell algae blooming. Usually too many nutrients, too much sun, and not enough plants.
Long green strings on the rock
String algae. Annoying but harmless to fish. It responds well to treatment plus better balance.
Fish gasping at the surface
Call us the same day. That is a water quality or oxygen problem and it can turn bad fast.
